Not much doing

Saw Roy off to work this morning, then did a little running around. Found a horseshoe kit at Zellers for $25... nice to know we actually will have a horseshoe pit up for the bbq next week, just like we said we would. Or at least the necessary materials to have one up. Labor is pending.

Went to the gym this afternoon; first time since we met with personal trainers last Wednesday. I discovered the gym is actually busy on Monday afternoon/early evening. It's sort of nice to know that they DO have a busy time. It was starting to feel like the place must be going under, it's been so quite every time I've been there previously. That said, I think I'm going to try and avoid going on Monday afternoons from now on... too many people!

I also discovered that, while everything else was pretty much fine from the last time, my abs were still very very stiff from Wednesday! Crunches with the stabilization ball were not fun today. My entire core hurts. I was able to do a full 4 sets of almost everything, though, when the first time I was only able to do 3. And I bumped the cross-trainer up to level 7 after 10 minutes (the first time at the gym, I was on level 1 or 2 for the full 30 minutes). So that's progress anyway... now if I could just lose some weight/inches!

After supper at my parents (hamburgers, mmm) I drove home in a thunderstorm. Or more correctly, drove home into a thunderstorm. Not much force behind it, but still a little ominous while driving. Think I'm going to go curl up on the couch with the cats and watch tv for a bit before bed (in hindsight, I probably shouldn't have given the cats catnip earlier).
